He had smoked Lights before this, but he had grown to almost enjoy the sharp scrape of the smoke down his throat and the light feeling that buzzed in his head as he smoked these. Lights stopped having this effect on him. He pulled a lighter from his pocket and lit the cigarette, taking a deep drag from it and exhaling the smoke into the cold, morning air.
